I remember that year so very well and I can---and DO---sing several of those songs at the drop of a hat. My favorite from the list is "Angie", I think. That year, I played it over and over and over and over till my parents screamed for mercy.

I was thirteen and singing along with most of these songs. Gee, it really does feel like just a short time ago, you must be very, very young! LOL, thanks for stopping by.

I know some of the songs, but was only 1 in 1973.
Hapyy TT!

I wasn't born for another 6 years, so I'm gonna classify these as oldies. =)

1973 was an absotively, posilutely, fantabulous year.

And I say that without any personal bias at all. Mostly. Sorta. Okay not really, I'm completely biased in favor of it but that doesn't take from what a great year it was. *wink*

Happy TT

I own every single song on your list in one form or another, mostly in LP and CD format. I might have one or 2 from MP3. 73 was a good year.

I can sing all these songs. (But don't worry, I'll spare you that!) Which of course means I'm old. Oh well, thank you for the trip down memory lane. It was fun.

What a great year for music! I love a lot of those songs, even though I was only 3 when they came out. I still think You're So Vain is about Warren Beatty and I absolutely love Midnight Train to Georgia!

Love your TT. You are such a young thing. I was touring England with a christian rock band the year you were born....

Oooh that's a good idea for a list. I'm only 2 years older than you. It would be interesting to see if there is much difference in the musical styles if I did this.

It's hard to stop at just 13 isn't it? I have quite a few of these songs in my collection. Two of my favorites on your list are "Brother Louie" and "Half-Breed". I remember when Cher used to sing that on the "Sonny and Cher" show when I was a little kid.

There are some great songs in there. It's amazing how many of them are still popular today, and frightening how many of them I know by heart.

You and I are the same age. Personally I think most of the songs from the year we were born are ghastly.

Thanks for stopping by my TT.

I remember some of these. And, several tie in perfectly with the fact that Tuesday was One Hit Wonder day.
