Jordie Pordie

Puddin' and pie kissed the boys and made them cry. Okay, well the boys aren't CRYING but the girl is kissing. I told her she had to stop kissing the boys at school and she says "I don't anymore because now they run really fast!" Well, that's logic for ya. I suppose we're just lucky we don't live in the States where we would have the possibility of her being suspended from school or sued for some sort of sexual harrassment.

I know. Isn't that the worst? When the 5 yo in kindergarten got expelled for a plastic butter knife he brought by accident & turned in to his teacher? That was just about the last straw for me. She sounds adorable. And, rather boy crazy. It's those Brits with their swanky accents. I'd chase them around & kiss them, too!

Jordan cracks me up!

As for the whole zero tolerance thing, it ran off the rails years ago. When people are punished for using common sense (like the child turning in the butter knife) then the madness has really GOT to stop.

Jordan...lol

My kids are kissy-huggy. I'm just glad that my kids are at a private school that accepts such things. And sometimes Princess' hair smells like her teacher's perfume, and that is alright with me. I know that she is loved there, and is getting the hugs she needs during the day.

It's sad that most schools don't allow it.

We'll see when Princess starts kissing boys. OMG, I don't want to think of it. And I'm sure it'll be SOON!

My Jordan is in Kindergarten this year too. They play "boys chase girls" at recess every day. The other day I asked how his day went, and he said it was awful. When I asked why, he told me it was because 3 girls chased him, and he couldn't play at recess because they wouldn't leave him alone. I thought that sounded fair, since every other day, he chases them, but he was a little annoyed by it. Serves him right, lol.

I love her logic. She's too cute!

My neice last year in first grade was doing that and yes she did get detention in the form of missing recess. Katelyn was doing that this summer at first the boy thought she was annoying, but I don't know if he liked the attention, but he liked to sit next to her. Awww...puppy love.

Funny! I miss being little. Chasing and kissing were so much fun! Look up "Georgie Porgie" on Wikipedia. Strange how these nursery r.'s come. Wasn't that sweet, the gal that posted that sometimes her daughter's hair smells like her teachers perfume....so tender!

that whole plastic butter knife thing is ridiculous....i wonder how much more damage that can do compared to a plastic fork.

girls chase boys, boys chase girls...has been going on forever. but i don't remember anyone trying to kiss each other back in our day...maybe i wasn't paying attention lol

and you're right about here, anything can be construed as sexual harrassment these days.
