Thursday Thirteen #20

#20 Thirteen Christmas Wishes

13 Things My Daughter Put on Her Wishlist!

Jordan spent the other day writing her Christmas wish list. She then drew several pictures and made an envelope - handed it to me and said "here we need to mail my order to Santa!" We'll see how many of these Santa actually gets her.

I'll translate her "order" for those of you that can't decipher 5 year old writing.

1. Disney Princess cooker

2. Gameboy

3. Gamboy Games

4. Guitar

5. Violin

6. Polly Pockets

7. Barbies

8. A new Ipod (she doesn't actually have an Ipod - she has a disney mix clip)

9. PSP - pink I think she actually means a DS

10. Radio

11. Webkinz

12. Unicorn (or maybe this was one thing a webkinz unicorn? I better ask.)

13. PSP for Jared that is blue. (Hmm maybe I should read her Tuesday's post so she will remember this is the brother that told Santa Claus she hadn't been good?? And I'm sure they mean DS on this one as well.)

How nice to think of her brother after he said that. And, wow! She thinks she's getting a lot!

What's a Disney Princess Cooker? I have a 5 year old and have never heard that one before.
Happy tt!

Jenn- I'm sure it's a disney princess kitchen but in England they like to call the stoves a cooker - probably something she saw on TV. She already has a kitchen though so I'm not really going to investigate too much. LOL

Good to see Polly Pockets are still around--my daughter (who's now 22!) loved those.

Very cute list. Makes me wish I'd saved the ones my kids have written over the years.

too cute. How old is she? My 8 yo wants an ipod AND a sidekick. I'll give her a 'side kick' allright. !!! LOL!

Too cute! That looks very similar to lists that my 6yo makes - and she wants an iPod too... Sigh.

Great list.. I can see why she wants all those things :)

Now that's a cute list! I was thinking the same thing, I've seen the Disney kitchen, not cooker.

That's so sweet she's thinking of her brother, even after what he said.

An iPod is on my Christmas list too. :)

Happy TT!

Tell Jordan I want a unicorn too. :)

Thanks for the translation...I would have never guessed any of those things. Five year old girls are fun to buy for. Not like men who go out and buy an electronic do-dad for them selves and say that's what they want for Christmas. My dad and brothers get each other Best Buy gift certificates every year. Come on!

Oh, that's fantastic! Looks like something my kids would do!

How cute!

I hope Santa has a thick pocketbook this year, wink wink.

It's a surprise, a nice one, to see a violin on that list among all the dolls and gadgets.

I remember Polly Pockets! And I never got as many Barbies as I wanted---which explains why, in midlife, I have a collection of them stored in my closet.

Awesome list. Some of those things are our lists, too!

Happy TT!

I don't do thursday 13, but I had to comment on your cute list! I could almost read all of her writing---party because I have a daughter who likes that stuff and partly because I am a pre-school teacher for 4 year olds. Hope Santa will read her list and then let you keep it. ;-)
