I Think I'm Done

I think I'm done Christmas shopping. Well, at least for the kids. Since living in England I do a lot of my Christmas shopping online. We have an American post office box so we don't pay international shipping and we make US dollars not pounds so we can't really shop on the UK economy. So, online shopping it is. Of course Jared wanted a stretchy scooby which is only available in the UK. I don't even want to say how much it costs with the exchange rate but more than I wanted to pay. He did ask for it for his birthday as well so Santa Claus guilt is kicking in.

Now if they would quit telling me all the "things" they want but that's not bound to happen. Tis the season!

It must be difficult to see the price difference, stuff in the states is SO cheap compared with here, thats why when I was over in the summer I stocked up on skate decks for my Sam at only $50 a piece instead of $130 which I pay here for them...... BIG DIFFERENCE....

I aint started me crimbo shopping yet lol

How fun! I had a stretchy something or other (a super-hero maybe?) 30-something years ago.

I'm with you. We have my FIL left & that's it...but I can't stand him, so hub can buy for him. The exchange rate? It's AWFUL. I'm sorry you had to pay so much for scooby.

Does the listing ever end? I swear if I hear "Hey Mom, I really want..." anymore I'll scream. Especially given the extreme amount of money I spent this weekend alone.

I so SO love Christmas though. I do. Mostly.

So why is stretchy Scooby so popular there and what "is more than you want to pay"? I'm so curious.

Yep - my kids all have long lists and I have hardly bought a thing. I need to go on-line - so many of my friends do it and I'm still out in the crowded stores searching for gifts and probably paying too much. Take care.

That looks really cool. We had a stretchy man as kids and loved it until my cousin poked a hole in him with her finger nail. We were so sad!

Yay, good for you!

I think I'm done making my list of what to buy when I start shopping...
